The Digital Standards Platform (DSP) is the official national digital gateway for the authorised purchase, subscription and online access of Nigerian Industrial Standards (NIS) and other authorised standards publications. It is a platform of the Standards Organisation of Nigeria (SON), operated by Goringo Digital Technology Infrastructure Limited (GDTIL) under a public-private partnership arrangement with SON. It is designed to make standards information easier to find, obtain, understand and use responsibly across Nigeria’s industrial and commercial space. It is also integrated into the e-marketplace of the Bureau of Public Procurement (BPP), through a collaborative partnership between the Standards Organisation of Nigeria and the Bureau. The Nigerian Industrial Standards (NIS) Attestation Certificate obtainable through this medium has become a mandatory bid document and evaluation requirement for all Federal Government procurements involving goods, works, and services.
The DSP is a centralised, digital-first platform for standards management, dissemination, certification workflows and compliance support. The platform is designed to accommodate a catalogue of over 5,300 Nigerian Industrial Standards documents. A subscription or download does not transfer ownership of a standard or publication. It provides only the access rights stated at checkout and in the applicable Terms and Conditions. Standards, publications, databases, logos, certificates, graphics, software and other Platform materials are protected by copyright, trademark and other intellectual-property rights. Unauthorised copying, resale, public posting, scraping, mass extraction, credential sharing and distribution are not permitted unless expressly authorised by the applicable licence or rightsholder.
Access to standards is a responsibility as well as a service. The Platform is designed to make authorised information more accessible while protecting the integrity, ownership and proper use of the publications it provides.
The Digital Standards Platform is a platform of the Standards Organisation of Nigeria. It is operated, maintained and supported by Goringo Digital Technology Infrastructure Limited under a public-private partnership arrangement with SON, within the framework administered by the Infrastructure Concession Regulatory Commission.
The Bureau of Public Procurement participates in the Project, and compliance information from the Platform supports standards-based public procurement. Technology, hosting, payment, communications and support providers contribute to operating the service under contract.
Operating the Platform does not authorise any operator, provider or third party to issue Nigerian Industrial Standards, confer regulatory approvals, grant certificates, or endorse a product or service. Those functions remain with SON and the responsible authorities. The appearance of a product, supplier, certificate, training course, procurement decision or third-party service on the Platform is not an endorsement beyond the specific status stated on the Platform.
